What Happens If You Forget to Add a Shift?

If you fail to add an external shift before the end of the month, it will not appear in the current invoice. However, you can still add it later, and it will be included in the next month’s invoice.

While this does not affect your eligibility for payment, it may delay the time it takes to receive it.

How to Handle Missed Shifts

  • Add the shift manually as soon as you realise it was missed.

  • Note that the payment will appear in your next invoice cycle.

  • Set a recurring reminder near the end of each month to ensure all shifts are reviewed and entered.

Common Issues

Shift not showing in invoice
This is typically because it was added too late.

Solution: Add the shift immediately and ensure it’s included in the following month’s invoice. For future months, consider reviewing your shifts a few days before the deadline.
